THE FOUNDLINGS were formed in the summer of 2005 by three innovative young acoustic musicians.
THE FOUNDLINGS use the traditions of America as their inspiration; Celtic & English traditions distilled in Appalachia and beyond, mixed with blues and left to ferment into wild fiddle tunes, rags, heartbreaking ballads, hobo train songs, devilment & love.
Fiddle, mandolin, harmonica, banjo, guitars and vocal harmonies take this music back across the oceans and the years to its origins to complete the journey full circle and bring a fresh perspective to a common musical heritage.
Respectful
